A view of St. Arilda's Church. Oldbury on Severn
This chuch was largely rebuilt following a disaterous fire in 1897. The 15th Century tower and medieval North porch were retained.
There are magnificent views of both Severn bridges and the surrounding countryside from the hill on which it stands.

During the Christmas festivities, the church is often floodlight. The school's Christmas productions are held here.

During the Autumn term, St Arilda's chuch can be used as a backdrop for the school's Carol Services and Harvert Festival. Occasionally, when it does snow, it adds an extra little bit of mysticism especially when the chuch is lit at night.

The churchyard at St. Arildas is used by the children on numerous occasions. They sketch the views and use the many plant examples for observational drawings, use in photography and in science investigations. The short walk up to the church from the school is both safe and rewarding.
